Old Woodworking Machine (OWWM) Restoration Projects

In late spring of 2007, I came across an opportunity to acquire and restore a vintage Delta Unisaw table saw.  Little did I realize at that time how fun and interesting it is to bring old machines ("old arn") back to life... even more so, I acquired an immense appreciation for the design and build quality of machines built many decades ago.  As a result of this experience, I quickly got bitten by the bug of doing woodworking machine restorations, including both the chase of looking for old machines and the enjoyment of restoring them to the glory of their original vintage.  In the process of doing these restorations, I also came to appreciate the benefit, both to myself and to others, of doing good photo documentation of the restoration process.  This page provides links to the growing inventory of machine restorations that I have completed (plus a couple of old machines that are in use in the nice condition as received).

A huge thank you and statement of appreciation go out to the crowd at Old Woodworking Machines, both at the mothership of machine information, www.owwm.com, and at the discussion forum, www.owwm.org.  The comraderie and insight of these guys and gals is a level that is beyond description.  I hope everyone appreciates the little contribution that my site may make to others who may visit.
